Allo Milano…?

[spacer]

During Milan fashion week, one has to be blind not to note the amount of people who are on the phone, that it’d be in or out of the shows…

One of the most common reason to get your phone out after a show is to call… your driver. You see, between the models, the editors, the somebodies and the nobodies, everyone has his own driver (me? I had my bike…) and everyone needs to find him asap after a show ends to drive away to their next destination. Most of the times it is the models…

You also have the editors and buyers calling their offices, or friends to give them a real time update on the collections, the shows, the make up, the celebrities, the “guess who ?” and the “guess what ?”…

Then every one is, at least once, calling someone they were suppose to meet but cannot find between the crowd, the photographers and the cars…

Not to mention the Tweets, the texts, Instagrams, Facebook updates and all…

Well, I have to say that if it wasn’t for my phone and Google maps, I would have been lost most of the time!

your pictures are brilliant!! And I can confess that italian people is phone-addicted! That's often not a nice thing. I can't stand people on the phone when we're having lunch or dinner!
Last photo is amazing, anyway! 😀

Hi Costanza! Thank you for your lovely comment!
Yes I think that nowadays everyone is becoming phone addicted… The important is to be able to know when it’s appropriate or not (ie: meals and all) so that we don’t become slaves of our machines… 😉
My problem is that sometimes I forget that I have a phone and I see messages and calls hours later.. :-S

Certainly together with you 100%. I’d personally doubt, for one thing, however i consider this not well worth talking about.
