Sunday Churros

When I first came to Madrid, I was recommended to visit the Chocolatería San Ginés. There, I had the opportunity to sample the city’s best Churros… Let me tell you, they were so good that from time to time I saw myself dreaming about them… Back in Madrid one year later, as you can imagine, I ran back to this cute Chocolatería as soon as I could!

Located in a little street close to the Puerta del Sol, and sheltered from the sun, the Chocolatería San Ginés is the perfect antidote after a day of window shopping

If you happen to pass by Madrid, you have to ask for their classical Churros con Chocolate as this is how they have been serving them since 1894..!

So tell me… Don’t do they look tempting?

There are no churros here in my country, but still I never know you can dip churros into chocolates.

Yes you can and it’s quite delicious! However when it’s really hot I prefer to just sprinkle some sugar. It’s less heavy 😉
