Costanza Pascolato

Have you seen Garance Doré latest posts? She published two very interesting interviews of Costanza Pascolato. It actually reminded me that I shot her during Milan fashion Week. It was outside the Armani show. I told her how much I loved her style, her elegance and her little cut out cardigan… She kindly thanked me, said that at her age she was trying her best to dress tastefully and that her top was from Carven… Look at her, isn’t she flawless?

Costanza is what we could call a doyenne of fashion. Born in Italy but raised in Brazil, she grew up into a family of weavers. The family textile company was catering for some of the most important designers of our time such as Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga and Yves St Laurent. After her father died she took over the business, then went on to create a jewellery line and wrote three books. She now works as Vogue Brazil fashion consultant.

Not only do I admire her style but I also do admire her as a person. She might be 73 years old but the words of wisdom coming out of this little lady are so honest and yet actual…

Have a look at her two interviews below…
