A place in the sun…

During the summer it’s not uncommon for people to escape their busy city for the closest coast or water point around. Last Sunday, I too decided to escaped the city for a day. I went to Santa Margherita (no, I’m sorry, this is not the place were the Margherita was invented;).

Located on the coast and only two hours away from Milan this little town on the sea host some really lovely sights, and an amazing architecture. I especially loved their “trompe l’oeil” mural details.

After the beach, the tradition has it that you must take a walk to Gepi, also known as Gelateria Gepi…. For a traditional and more importantly,  a delicious hand made ice cream!
