Back to school, hence back to work..! The holiday season is officially over and after taking it easy for a last week until the hurricane starts (that is fashion weeks) I am now ready to brave the upcoming season…
This week, I have finally finished to unpack the totality of my holiday suitcase, my clothes have now found their way back into my wardrobe, I have regained the use of my diary, my phone and re-inflated my bicycle… Yes I am definitely ready!
To start, here is my first Video Inspirations series of the season…
Starting with Garance Doré and her “prepping-up” for the fashion week video. Very similar to her Pardon my French series, I was happy to see her again, as once you get used to her little adventures, you can no longer do without them… I also did some prepping up which included a home made manicure, a wardrobe reorganization and well… that’s about it! Then I guess tomorrow I should meet with my team (ie: myself) for a last minute briefing..
Discover New York through the eyes of beautiful model Christina Caradona and blogger Yvan Rodic (in collaboration with Esprit). Having visited the Big Apple only once I really enjoyed to be taken back to the city that never sleep and re discover it’s streets, its taxis, its atmosphere… Not to mention that I really like Yvan’s work.
Last but not least, the latest video from Scott Schuman. For the second time, the Sartorialist managed to gather some of the most stylish men of the fashion planet for his second edition of the “Sartorialist Dinner”. Shot in Florence, I believe that this video illustrates perfectly the idea that style is more in the attitude than in the attire. What stroked me the most in this video was not the fact that those men where all perfectly groomed but how they were acting, their gesture, their body language… Pure elegance.

10 September 2012 at 6 h 18 minmerci pour la découverte de la video du Sartorialist. Elle est magnifique! Tu as raison, l’attitude fait beaucoup! Quelle élégance, quel style et quelle aisance. Et c’est si joliment filmé, entre vue d’ensemble et petits détails, avec la musique et le noir et blanc, magique!
