Perrier-Jouët owns 65 hectares of vineyards, all classified at 99,2% on the vintage wine scale. Which means that this house can only produces “Grand cru”!
And it’s in its 10 km of underground cellars that magic takes place, under the watchful eye of the 7 chiefs cellar men which have followed one another in its labyrinth since 1811. A Grand Brut will sleep a minimum of two years away from the light, while a Belle Epoque wine will take up to 6 years.
