http://player.vimeo.com/video/49393275

Here are some new video inspirations for you guys! First, this masterpiece from director Ryan Hope showcasing William Tempest’s new collection for River Island. If you hadn’t heard about Mister Hope before, don’t worry, me neither… But after seeing this video you will definitely remember his name. This video is by far one of the best, if not, The best I have seen since I have have started my video inspirations series.

So, what makes this video so fantastic…? Well, it was shot in an unique and continuous take of 12 minutes. No cuts… Not even one! What does it mean exactly? That the director shot each scene without pausing or stopping in between the actual scenes. And when you look at the amazing location where it was shot, the amount of actors, the image quality and the timing of each frame well you understand that it must have been one hell of a job!

Anna

Do you remember my last post on Anna Wintour? The one where I was telling you how hard it was for me to get her picture? Well it happened again this season only this time, I was really decided to get a correct shot of her. So I did, but let me tell you, it was not that easy!

The first time I saw her was outside the Versace show. I was shooting some street style pictures as usual and as I took a pause to chat with a friend, she appeared. But of course I was in the middle of a conversation, trying to debate whether the Iceberg show was worth it or not. So the time I realized she was there, she was already gone!

Laetitia Casta

Yesterday night Dolce and Gabbana were inaugurating their new fragrance Pour Femme and Pour Homme, at the prestigious department store La Rinascente in Milan. For this special occasion, their muses, the beautiful french supermodel Laetitia Casta along with male model Noah Mills, made quite a remarkable appearance.

Luckily for me, I managed to catch them just outside the Metropole theater right after the Dolce SS 2013 show. I was about to leave but as I saw the bright red convertible, I knew something was about to happen so I hopped off my bike and waited… A few minutes later I saw an elegant little lady walking out of the door. As you might know, Laetitia is 1m68 which is considered quite small in the modelling industry. Nonetheless, she is simply stunning.

Russian Doll

You must remember Maria Kolosova, my favorite Russian doll! One of the best thing of shooting street style pictures, is that it gives you the opportunity to meet a lot of different and very interesting person from all around the world. Some that you would probably never get to meet in other condition or that you might simply never talk to.

From all the people you meet, they are those who you will never see again and then, they are all the others, like Maria. Where each encounter is a chance to catch up on life, talk about fashion, work and other such things. And then, like a tradition, there is the improvised photo session. And it’s like this until the next fashion week. To know more about Maria, take a dip into her world.

A Chic Fashion Salad

In my book, when you gather some of the most famous personal style fashion blogger on one page, and that their blog are named: The Chicmuse, The Fashion Fruit and The Blond Salad, it give me a very Chic Fashion Salad…!

While I met them on different days, it was interesting to see that even though they all dressed according to their own personality and style, one color remained dominant: the electric blue. As it is one of my favorite color, I really loved the way they used it. Especially as Veronica managed to create a very stylish and fresh look, Denni gave it a very funky twist while Chiara was simply elegant… What about you, which outfit do you prefer?
