Byblos

The Byblos show was a first for me as I never went before and I didn’t really know much about the brand as well. I was sitting front row, not that I was suppose to be there but as I arrived a little late, I took the first available seat in sight and it happened to be a good one. It turned out to be a great idea for the pictures, but a very bad idea for the interview I had to give. Because you don’t know? If you sit in front row, people think that you are important or a rich client, obviously if you are rich, you become important (which unfortunately doesn’t always work the other way around 😉

Anyway, so while I was sitting there, a journalist from Fashion TV, who surely thought I was very important came to ask me some important questions about the collection, about what I was expecting to see and what I loved about the Byblos universe… As I said before, I didn’t really know anything about the brand so I suddenly started to feel like I was sitting at an oral mathematics exam… While being filmed!

I started to mumble clever fashionista’s answers (as seen on style.com ;). But from my experience, I would suggest you to avoid to talk about the colors before the end of a show… You see as the interview went on, I started to get confident and talked about how I was looking forward to see a lot of colors and prints… Well, the collection turned out to be completely black with just some touch of white!

Of course, this little incident without any consequences ,except for my pride, didn’t prevent me from enjoying the show, which I found very dynamic. The models strutted down the catwalk looking sexy, confident and yet rebellious. Here are some bits from the show, starting with my favorite outfit…
